The ability of political parties is the main requirement for the CPC to become a major party in the past century. It is an inevitable requirement for the Party to make historic achievements in leading China’s revolution, construction, and reform. It is also an essential factor for the Chinese nation to succeed in its transformation from standing up, becoming rich, and becoming strong in modern times. During the development of the Party over a hundred years, through long-term historical practice, conscious summary of experience and refinement and generalization of conceptual discourse, it not only forms various concepts of competence and rich political implications, but also summarizes and sublates competence in the process of forming competence consciousness and competence expression, thus constructing a discourse system of competence expression of the party with its own characteristics. The evolution of political party ability reflects the internal logic of self-revolution in the subject, the historical logic of picture change in the environment, and the presentation logic of discourse innovation in the expression. In the new era, the Communist Party of China should strengthen the consciousness of competence in the history of the generation of the concept of political party competence, construct the discourse of competence in the history of the evolution of the connotation of political party competence, and perfect the system of competence in the history of the development of political party competence itself.
