Concept evolution and discourse evolution are important manifestations of social change and change of concept. The study of concept history provides a new research perspective for the analysis of the comprehensive construction of a well-off society. Since the reform and opening up, a well-off society has gone from a descriptive discourse to a normative discourse, from a single language to a compound language, from a political expression to a popular expression, the inner meaning of the concept, The changes in expression forms and discourse characteristics profoundly reflect the construction process and historical achievements of a well-off society, and embodies the party’s ideological cognition and theoretical interpretation of a well-off society. There is a coordinated and interactive chain between social development, thinking cognition and discourse expression. The social system, the concept system and the discourse system are inseparable and independent of each other. Conceptual discourse shows the relationship between the comprehensive construction of a well-off society and common prosperity, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and socialist modernization in historical changes.
