Zhang Wenmu:American Imperialism Is Terminal Stage od Capitalism(Part 1):Impact of Global Spread of COVID-19 Epidemic on International Strategic Pattern
     Release time: 2021-11-01

The birth of the United States of America was a result of the fusion of Puritan idea and Jewish obsession; the former firmly opposed secular states’ control of capital and the latter, after losing their homeland, regarded money as the“motherland”; they both put the freedom and interests of capital above that of the state and the nation. Thus, the United States has not established an independent national finance since its founding. And its finance has switched from initially relying on the Wall Street military-industrial capital group to relying on the Wall Street financial capital group. This change is the inversion and alienation of the relationship between industrial capital and financial capital, which is manifested in the replacement of military dollar by petrodollar, and the large-scale expansion of financial capital and its dominance of US domestic and foreign policies. After entering the 21 st century, the debt of the US government has been rising so much that the United States has become increasingly alienated into a “semi-colonial”country controlled by a small group of creditor consortium, and the country has become one of usury imperialism as a whole. The United States at the beginning of the 21 st century has become an“American Empire”under the rule of international monopoly capital, which represents the transition of capitalism from its“highest stage”to the declining stage.
