The law of modernization development for underdeveloped countries explored by Karl Marx shows that the development of modernization must not only hold by the inherent law of historical development, but also have its diversity. Since the establishment of People's Republic of China, adhering to the Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method, the Chinese Communists have embarked on a new road of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics in the context of economic and cultural backwardness. Meanwhile, they have achieved the two miracles, which is rapidly progressing economy and long-term social stability. The new road of modernization with Chinese characteristics provides a Chinese solution for underdeveloped countries to realize modernization. On the one hand, it breaks through Marx's conception of socialism. On the other hand, it surpasses the western road of modernization and embodies the unity of regularity and diversity, universality and particularity. We must maintain the strategic determination, deeply grasp the rule of our country's modernization development, base on the new characteristics and challenges on the new development stage, constantly open up new prospects, and make new achievements.
