Release time: 2019-09-11
Marxist state theory is an important part of Marxism. The basic content of the state theory elucidated by classical Marxist theorists is as follows: country originates from labor division and private ownership; the essence of the state is the product of the irreconcilable class contradiction, which dies with the demise of the class; the state has the dual functions of political rule and social management; civil society decides the political state, and the emergence of private ownership promotes that of capitalist countries; social existence determines social consciousness, while economic foundation determines superstructure; socialist countries adhere to the leadership of proletarian political parties to realize the liberation of the proletariat and the entire people. Xi Jin-ping’s theory of state governance is a theoretical innovation of combining Marxist state theory and China’s reality, which is embodied in his persistent adherence to the dominant position of people-centeredness, the core leadership of the proletarian party, the“three laws”of governing the country, and the party’s basic line in an all-round way, etc. Xi Jin-ping’s viewpoints on state governance are the Marxist ideology of governing the country in contemporary China.
