Zhou Xin-cheng:Establishing a Socialist System Is an Inevitable Trend in the Development of Human Society in Line with the Law
     Release time: 2019-06-02

Marx and Engels absorb the rational thoughts in utopian socialism, develop their own historical materialism and the theory of surplus value, and demonstrate that the basic contradiction of capitalism entails the inevitably demise of capitalism and the inevitably victory of socialism which becomes the inevitable trend of human social development. The collapse of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe was not caused by socialism. It was precisely because they abandoned the basic principles of scientific socialism that they had adhered to and because they replaced the basic system of socialism with humanistic democratic socialism. The establishment of a socialist system in China, both theoretically, internationally, and domestically, is in line with the requirements of social development laws. It is an objective and inevitable trend, and an objective necessity that does not shift with subjective will.
