Liu Mingguo:Macroeconomic Adjustment and Control in Socialism with Chinese Characteristics
     Release time: 2017-08-25

A theory of macroeconomic adjustment and control of socialism with Chinese characteristics is necessary for building the political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics. As the pillars of mainstream macroeconomics and of the capitalist, even imperialist ideology in the West today, the theory of simple (equilibrium) determination of national income and the IS-LM theory, constitute a pseudo-science with a deceptive nature with their replacement of the logic of economics with that of mathematics ,and with the expected conclusions derived from a series of fictional and semantically ambiguous concepts and premises contrary to common sense. Under the new historical conditions of China’s having achieved a mid-level income and of its building a moderately prosperous society, sustainable national prosperity and strength requires the socialist macro-control with Chinese characteristic. That is to say,the three pillars-the financial department, finance department and the public-owned enterprises must focus closely on the three goals of common prosperity, economic security and the optimization of economic structure, proceeding with a comprehensive use of the policies of “national monopoly”,“levelization”,“exclusive dealer” and the industrial policy of “national plan.”
