To develop Marxism in the 21st century is the requirement of constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics,an objective demand for its localization, modernization and popularization,a demonstration of the intrinsic characteristics of Marxism,and a significant indicator of measuring our theoretical development.The tremendous achievements in socialist construction with Chinese characteristics throughout 30-year reform and opening-up require not only theoretical illustration and interpretation, but the innovation and development of Marxist theories.A clear study of intrinsic nature of Marxism serves as the prerequisite for developing the-new-century Marxism.Instead of spending too much on trivial details,we shall clarify its intrinsically dialectical relationship between essentiality and truth,to achieve the goal of theoretical development through differentiation.
