Xu Chongwen:China’s Path and the “Five Development Concepts”
     Release time: 2017-05-11

Since the second decade of the 21th century, the economic gear of China has slowed down after 30-year rapid growth. The CPC interpreted the change as a sign of our economy entering into the “New Normal”,which is a necessary course for our economy evolving to a new phase characterized by more advanced economic pattern, more optimized labor division, and more rationalized structure. The “Five Development Concepts” of innovation, coordination, greenness, openness, and sharing came commensurate with our awareness to adapt to, seize on,and guide the “New Normal” as the core logic throughout the development. The “Five Development Concepts”, as a strategic guidance targeting at marked proxies in the “New Normal” and a formidable ideological weapon for the decisive phase of building a well-off society in an all-round way, is a unity with internally connected components. The five concepts integrate, promote, and deeply connect with each other, running the same topic and pursuing the same goal;they stress different sides as well as back each other, jointly building up a systematic philosophy.
