Historically, globalization not only refers to a worldwide economic wave,but also embodies a global cultural expansion of the capitalist production modes, life styles, ways of thinking and values. Therefore,globalization is accompanied by the transfer of a western-centralism-oriented ideology. Since ideological globalization launched severe challenges to contemporary China’s ideology,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to reveal the strategic value of ideology in globalization and distinguish its strategic value at ontological and epistemological level,so as to maintain the healthy development of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics, to evade the distortion of the essence and explanation of China issues by pure speculative,westernized or erroneous values,to resist the impact of the “left” and right ideology, and to establish a scientific outlook of the world, life and values.
