Academic Profile |
Liu Daoyi,PhD in Theoretical Economics. Graduated in 2011 and joined the Department of Basic Principles of Marxism at the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Currently serves in the Research Room of the History of Marxism. He is one of the primary contributors to the first and second volumes of the "History of the Development of Marxism" published by the Academy. He also participates in major innovative research projects, including "Research on Xi Jinping's Worldview and Methodology." His key research areas include critical studies of the history of Western economic thought, the methodology of Marxist political economy, and the study of classic texts by Marxist authors. He is a researcher at the Center for Research on Economic and Social Development at the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Secretary-General of the National Young Forum on Marxist Economics, and a council member of the National History of Marxism-Leninism Economic Theory Society, along with being a council member of the Chinese Foreign Economic Theories Annual Conference and the Capital Economist Forum. His work as a primary contributor to "Capitalist Economic Crisis and Economic Cycles: History and Theory" received the first prize in the 2018 Research Achievement Awards from the Economic Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Additionally, his contributions to the first and second volumes of the "History of Development of Marxism" earned the third prize in the 8th "Outstanding Achievements in Marxist Research" from the Chinese Marxism Research Foundation. |
