Academic Profile

Pan Jin’e graduated from Peking University, majoring in the language of Vietnamese; obtained Master of Economics and Doctor of Laws from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; and was once visiting scholar to School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. She has been widely influential in the study of Vietnam and Sino-Vietnamese relations.

She has held several concurrent posts, including PhD supervisor of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Executive Council Member of the Chinese Society for the History of the International Communist Movement, Vice President of World Socialism Specialized Committee of the Chinese Society of Scientific Socialism, and so on.

The scientific research projects she has engaged in include primarily: (1) “Study of New Developments in World Socialist Thought and Movements,” (2018-2027), Innovation Project of the Academy of Marxism of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; (2) “A Comparative Study of the Images of Political Parties Abroad and Its Implications,” (2021), High-End Think Tank Project of CASS; (3) “Experience and Implications of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Anti-corruption Efforts,” (2023), project of Research Center for Party Building of CASS; (4) “Study on the Profound Impact of the Centennial Struggle of the Communist Party of China on the Course of World History,” (2022), sub-project of the Major Project of the National Social Science Fund, etc.
