Academic Profile |
Zhang Xiaoping graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in 2000 with a PhD degree in philosophy. From 2000 on, she has been working at the Institute of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought of the CASS, and later Academy of Marxism of the CASS, successively as Assistant Researcher, Associate Researcher, Researcher, Director of Research Unit of Culture and Philosophy, and Director of Research Unit of Culture and Ideology. From January to December in 2016, she visited the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago as a visiting scholar. Now she is also Executive Council Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Committee on Modern Philosophy of the China Philosophy History Association, and Executive Council Member of the Chinese Society for the History of Ethnic Minority Philosophy and Thought. She has published more than 100 articles in academic journals such as Studies on Marxism, People’s Tribune, Philosophical Trends, and so on.
