| Academic Profile |
Xiayipu holds a Ph.D. in Law from the Academy of Marxism at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He also earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Renmin University of China, as well as a Master's degree in Philosophy from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Authored six academic monographs and translated one foreign work. Published over sixty articles in journals such as " Studies on Marxism," " People's Tribune," and " Marxism & Reality." Contributed ten articles to foreign journals. The sole-authored book, "Building a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects," received the 2022 National Excellent Science Popularization Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology as part of the "New Era New Ideology Iconic Concepts Series." Co-authored volume two of "History of Marxism," which won the third prize in the eighth "Excellent Achievements in Marxism Research" by the China Marxism Research Foundation. The co-authored monograph "Marx's Circle" was awarded the 2023 China Book Award. The co-authored "Yearbook of Marxism Theory Research and Discipline Construction 2018" received the special prize in the sixth National Local Chronicles Excellent Achievements. In 2021, awarded the title of Young Learning Model by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
