Academic Profile |
Liu Haifei is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and a researcher at the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). He is also an invited researcher at the World Socialism Research Center. He received the degree of PhD in the history of the CPC from Renmin University of China, finished the research as a postdoctoral fellow at The Institute of Contemporary China Studies (CASS), and is now Adviser to postgraduate students at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His main research interests include Party’s organizational building, talent-related work, history of the socialist revolution and construction period, and Mao Zedong Thought. He has published more than 70 academic and theoretical articles in People’s Daily (Theory Edition), Economic Daily (Theory Edition), Studies on Marxism, Literature of Chinese Communist Party, Red Flag Manuscript, Studies on Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping Theories, etc., and has sent nearly 20 reports to higher authorities and other achievements to the General Affairs Office, the Publicity Department and other agencies. He has presided over one project of the National Social Science Fund and several projects of other types. He has participated in more than 20 projects including major commissioned projects of the National Social Science Fund, projects commissioned by the Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Organization Department, the Publicity Department, the Research Office of the General Affairs Office, the National Party Building Research Association, and the Marxist Project of the Central Committee, among other projects.
