She graduated successively from the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Heilongjiang University, the School of Humanities of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), and the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) with Bachelor of Arts, Master of Laws and Doctor of Laws. From August 1992 to January 1993, she studied at the Pushkin Institute of Languages in Moscow, Russia; from October 2006 to June 2007, she was a visiting scholar at the Department of Political Science of Kharkiv State University, Ukraine; from June to September 2016, she was a visiting scholar at Lomonosov State University in Moscow, Russia. She has visited Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia, and Baltic countries. She published two academic monographs: Argument and Choice: Lenin, Stalin and the Opposition within the Party, and Socialism: New Reflections of Russian Scholars. And she published a number of academic papers and translations, including the followings: “To Abolish or to Adhere to the New Economic Policy: Stalin’s Argument with the “Rightists” Led by Bukharin and Likov”, “Fission and Division: The Evolution of Social Class and Strata in Russia”, “Communist Parties in Central and Eastern Europe: History, Practice and Future Development Trends”, and “The Present Situation of ‘New Socialism’ in Russia and Its Cause Analysis”, etc.; participated in the writing of “Theories and Practices of the Communist Parties of CIS Countries”, “Studies on European Socialism”, etc.; and also participated in the translation of a number of academic books.

She presided over and completed the project of the National Social Science Foundation of China, “Research on the Ideology of New Socialism in Russia”, and presided over and completed the key project of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), “The Choice of the Road of National Development in the Soviet Union in the 1920s”; participated in a number of Major and key projects of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), mainly including: “Contemporary World Socialism and Movements”, “Research on Major Historical and Practical Problems of World Socialism”, “New Development of Contemporary World Socialism”, “Contemporary World Socialism: Thoughts and Movements”, “China’s New Era in the Eyes of the Leaders of the Former Soviet Union and Eastern European Countries”; participated in and completed the project of the National Social Science Foundation of China, “Research on the Theory and Practice of the Communist Parties of the CIS Countries”. Won the third prize of the Excellent Countermeasure Information Research of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) for three times, and the monograph “Research on European Socialism” won the first prize of the Excellent Scientific Research Achievements of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the third prize of the Excellent Achievements of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).
