Today, Ursula von der Leyen claims to be reelected as the President of the European Commission.
Ursula Von der Leyen is the continuity of austerity policies, of maintaining poverty in Europe. We do not support her project for Europe.Ursula Von der Leyen is the representative of the rich and advocates policies for them. We cannot support more austerity and more injustice. Ursula Von der Leyen had nothing to say about the war in Palestine and about the fact that the European Union avoids the topic of putting sanctions on Israel to stop the murdering in Gaza. We cannot support more wars. Let’s build together a Europe of peace with social rights.Ursula Von der Leyen criticized in vaccine transparency judgment a day before she faces crucial vote on her future. We cannot support secret deals and lack of transparency. We need a Europe that defends public health and public services that are accessible to the people.
We need a Europe of the many and not of the few. A Europe with public services, with housing and social rights. A Europe where we can live. The next five years are an opportunity to build the alternative to austerity. Defending social justice, human rights, public services, peace, feminism and the environment are challenges that must unite us.
