The Egyptian Communist Party welcomes the joint declaration signed in Beijing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China.

The Egyptian Communist Party also appreciated the agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran to restore diplomatic ties, with the two countries’ embassies reopening for up to two months, stressing respect for national sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs. This is their internal business. The restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries is the basis for cooperation between the two countries.

The Egyptian Communist Party believes that the agreement, which was led by the Chinese side and reached after two years of hard work, is a great success of Chinese diplomacy and an important step towards supporting peace and resolving differences through dialogue. This has achieved good-neighborly friendship and cooperative relations among countries and peoples in the region.

This is also seen as clear evidence that the world is moving towards the establishment of a new multilateral international system, China’s status as an economic and political power is being consolidated, and its approach to peace and development is distinctive. Rather than the US imperialist approach that seeks to exploit the peoples of developing countries and exert hegemony over them.

Undoubtedly, this situation provides an opportunity for Arab countries and peoples to get rid of their dependence on the United States, from which all they get is backwardness, poverty and tyranny. It also helps the Arab people and their national and progressive forces against the US-Zionist imperial plan to demonize and paint Iran as the arch enemy, a plan that only serves Israel, which Israel was and continues to be is the main enemy of the Arab states.
