Abstract:Theory generation is the result of the interaction of many factors. The practical needs of construction of a modernized nation and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the need to enrich and develop Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the need to construct the discourse system and manifest the world significance have contributed to the construction of the theory of Chinese-style modernization. The interpretation of historical development, fundamental nature, Chinese characteristics, essential requirements, strategic arrangement, strategic focus, major principles, major relations, unique implications and world significance of Chinese-style modernization constitutes the basic content of the theory of Chinese-style modernization. The organic unity of universality and specificity, regularity and purposefulness, history and present and future, China’s position and world sentiment explains the main features of the theory of Chinese-style modernization. The innovation and breakthrough of Marxist modernization theory and the enrichment and development of the connotation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era provide theoretical guidance for the practice of Chinese-style modernization, add new elements to the construction of the image of the country, people, party and nations, explain the experience and wisdom of Chinese-style modernization to the international community, and demonstrate the great significance of the construction of Chinese-style modernization theory.
