National security capacity is the manifestation of national strength in the realm of national security. it represents a nation’s ability to effectively respond to various risks and challenges during its development, thereby achieving its overall national security goals and ensuring sustained security. Enhancing national security capacity is an essential requirement of comprehensively advancing Chinese modernization. As a comprehensive capability national security capacity consists of several core components: the ability to guide conceptualization, formulate strategies, provide fundamental safeguards and respond to risks concerning national security.The strength of these components directly determines the overall state of national security. On the new journey, amid increasingly complex national security dynamics while building a a safer China based on higher standards, we must comprehensively implement the holistic concept of national security to strengthen conceptual guidance, refine national security strategies to enhance strategic planning, coordinate development and security to bolster foundational safeguards, and optimize institutional mechanisms to improve risk response. This modernization of national security capacity will provide a solid foundation for comprehensively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese modernization.
