Yan Shuhan: On the Internal Logic of China’s Development and Growth
     Release time: 2025-04-02
The internal logic of China’s development and growth refers to the inherent law that governs its progress since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. This logic is manifested in seven aspects. First, Marxism serves as the fundamental guiding ideology for the establishment and strengthening of both the Party and the country. Second, the Party’s strong leadership is upheld in all fields and respects. Third, the fundamental principle of people first is observed. Fourth, there is a consistent pursuit for and exploration of socialist modernization. Fifth, the key strategy of reform and opening-up is firmly implemented. Sixth, the path of peaceful development is persistently followed. And seventh, the Party has led social revolution through its self-revolution. The study on this logic serves two purposes: externally, it responds to the relentless promotion of “China threat” by certain Western forces; internally, it advocates that Party members, particularly Party leaders, should grasp the essence of the law of China’s development and growth. China’s development follows its own law, which is objective, consistently applicable and irresistible. The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is a historical process that is irreversible. The trend of China’s development and growth cannot be hindered by any force. This is determined by its internal causes, that is, its inherent logic.
