As a new cultural life form in human history, the modern civilization of the Chinese nation has achieved innovative development of the prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization, that is, the connotation update from five aspects: civilization genes, civilization propositions, civilization logic, civilization concepts, and civilization landscape. Chinese civilization has always followed specific development laws in its modern transformation, and it is precisely in the process of “dialectical unity of generality and particularity”, “integration and intercommunication of innovation and inheritance”, and “organic combination of regularity and purposefulness” that it has achieved the creation and presentation of its own modern connotation. The construction of modern civilization of the Chinese nation, as an important component of the “new cultural mission”, reflects a deep concern for the development of world civilization, contributes Chinese wisdom to promoting mutual learning among civilizations of various ethnic groups, provides Chinese experience for crossing the barriers of global civilization development, provides Chinese strength for ending capitalist Western style “civilization”, and makes Chinese contributions to creating new forms of human civilization.
