The Chinese modernization road led by the Communist Party of China (CPC) has broken the mentality that “modernization equals capitalism”, which was created by the Western countries. It has also overcome the chronic problems of capital supremacy, polarization and ecological destruction brought by the Western modernization road, and dispelled the myth that “modernization means Westernization”, proving that developing countries can explore an independent modernization path based on their own national conditions and historical traditions. The successful practice of Chinese modernization has proclaimed the end of the “end of history”, “Western-centrism” and “clash of civilizations”. It has also profoundly changed the world landscape and influenced the development trend of world history.
