Themes are objectified issues, selected issues, and subjectified issues. On the basis of development, Marxist research themes, practical themes, and theoretical themes are unified. Marxism has a different direction and nature of the basic selection of themes from the general philosophy and social sciences, non-Marxist Marxist studies and Marxist theoretical disciplines. The theme of Marxism in the 21st century is the unity of the general theme, the theme of the century, the theme of the century’s existence, the theme of the times, and the unity of the general theme, the basic theme, and the general specific theme. Building the understanding on the basis of scientific Marxist outlook, recognizing theoretical themes from practical themes, developing understanding in historical experience and organically integrating into international studies, and devoting oneself to deep thematic exploration are the ways of recognizing the themes of Marxism in the 21st century.
