Marxism is a theoretical gene with strong vitality because of its scientific and truthful nature, people-orientedness and practicality, openness and modernity. In the centennial struggle of revolution, construction and reform, the CPC has inherited all the theoretical genes contained in Marxism and made them expand and develop greatly. It has not only obtained a series of theoretical results in Sinicizing Marxism, but also made major achievements in its centennial history under the guidance of these theoretical results. These major achievements have not only profoundly changed China, but also transformed China from a semi-colonial and semi-feudal nation facing the bleak reality of serious dividedness and starving people 100 years ago into a vibrant and prosperous nation full of bright prospects. Moreover, it has also profoundly changed the world and brought about a major change in the historical evolution of and competition between socialism and capitalism as two ideologies and two social systems across the world, which is conducive to socialism.
