Attaching great importance to the construction of a healthy political culture within the party, and resolutely preventing and resisting backward and decadent political culture, is the basic and prerequisite work in full and rigorous self-governance, the fundamental tasks to improve the Party’s political ecosystem and foster a healthy political environment, and the prerequisite task to maintain the Party’s advanced nature and purity. Under the guidance of Marxism, we must scientifically identify and recognize the harmfulness of the backward and decadent political culture in all forms in traditional culture and western capitalist culture under market economy conditions. We should strengthen the theoretical study of party cadres, eradicate corruption and promote Party conduct among serious activities within the party and promote our Party’s full and rigorous self-governance to form a sound institution and political environment. We should further consolidate the positions of socialist culture by ensuring the health of the contents in cultural products and in the media, making resisting corrosive influence of backward and decadent political culture a top priority and carry out in a solid manner.
