Xi Jinping Economic Thought inherits and further expands the discussion of the classic Marxist writers on production and labor of human society. The essential feature of this thought is that it is based on the real economy and meets the needs of the people. It does so because it firmly grasps the essence of production of human society and the main contradiction of socialist society, especially socialist society with Chinese characteristics in the new era. The solution to the main contradiction of socialist society is to keep meeting the growing and evolving needs of the people with the times. Xi Jinping Economic Thought has advanced the socialist society with Chinese characteristics in the new era by developing the real economy to meet the growing needs of the people for a better life. In addition, the new development concept of Xi Jinping Economic Thought,namely, “innovation, coordination, greenization, openness and sharing”, has also demonstrated a new dimension of Chinese Marxist political economy while promoting the development of the real economy and meet ing the people's needs for a better life.
