In the past 100 years,the Communist Party of China has grown from small to large, from weak to strong,and united and led the people from victory to victory. In this process,an important experience is to insist on combining the universal truth of Marxism with the specific practice of China,always adhere to the guiding position of Marxism,and use the Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method to analyze problems and solve them. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement on the history of the party contains a distinct Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method, shines with the light of Marxist truth, fully demonstrates the fundamental position of putting people first, vividly explains the basic ideas of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and epitomizes the basic ideological approach, working methods and leadership methods of seeking truth from facts. The use of Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method to study and solve practical problems is a scientific attitude towards Marxism, an heirloom of the Chinese Communists, and a fundamental requirement for the CPC history learning and education.
