The great achievements made by the CPC in the century-long history of China’s revolution, construction and reform are also the great triumphs of the CPC in applying the historical materialism to guide China’s practice. At the key turning points in different stages of China’s revolution, construction and reform, relying on the guidance of the historical materialism, the CPC overcame difficulties, turned crises into opportunities, survived one difficulty after another and led the Chinese people from victory to victory. After a century of struggle, the CPC has enriched, developed and innovated the Marxist historical materialism with its own great practice. In the bilateral interaction between practice and theory, the CPC has also continuously promoted the sinicization of the Marxist historical materialism and created the contemporary Chinese Marxist historical materialism in the 21 st century, creating a Chinese theory, a Chinese program and a Chinese template for oppressed peoples and countries around the world to strive for independence, liberation and social modernization development. The success of the CPC in the past century in China is a great triumph of the application of the historical materialism to Chinese practice.
