The Communist Party of China and its carders are the key to realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and to upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. The great practice of the Party in the past 100 years has proved that the Party must have a strong and correct central collective leadership in practice; the whole Party must resolutely safeguard the authority of this leadership; and on this basis, the Party must always attach great importance to training generation after generation of reliable successors for the revolutionary cause of the proletariat. Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping made streneous and in-depth explorations in this regard,and achieved significant results and valuable experience. We must learn a lesson from the disintegration of the Soviet Union,guard our country against hostile forces “peaceful evolution”, ensure that the Party and government will never degenerate, and complete the Party's great historical mission.
