Historical nihilism erodes our basic belief in history and endangers CPC's political legitimacy. Historical nihilism has never been empowered in China or in the west before the late 20th Century,its prevalence since then had deep ideological and social roots:it drew theoretical resources from individualism and postmodernism,got convincing evidences from the research of micro－history,fostering by the popular culture,and spreading easily through internet communication. Marxism is a powerful weapon for us to criticize the current historical nihilism radically,according to which，human history is an integral part of natural history,and the precondition and environment of human creative activities are material,objective and knowable,any abstract historical interpretation should be opposed,on the contrary,the historical interpretation should be based on human practice,and the significance of historical enlightenment should be valued.
