He Yuchang:On the Urgent Necessity of Containing Capitalized Finance and Financial Capital : A Reflection from the Perspective of Marxist Theories ofIndustry - Finance Relationship
     Release time: 2017-07-08

Financial capital grows out of industrial capital and targets at facilitating industrial financing, which is both financing-serving and monopolistic.Marxist theories of industry-finance relationship lay a theoretical foundation for defining the functions of industry-finance capital integration and tackling their distorted relations. The current problem of capitalized finance and financial capital distorts the industry- finance relationship, characterized by the fact that the inflation of capitalized finance comes with the decay of the real economy, that the high profits from financial capital suppresses those from the real economy, and that financial capital, especially insurance capital, preempts industrial equity and undermines industrial capital as well as the real economy. Therefore, it is of urgent necessity to streamline the financial capital and safeguard industrial capital,to eliminate financial monopoly and activate market competitiveness, and to strictly define the function of financial capital as financing. It is equally urgent to streamline the investment of insurance capital, strengthen the supervision of financial market, and safeguard the property right of industrial capitals by upgrading corporation governance.
