The history of the over 90 years ever since the founding of theCommunist Party of China (CPC) is the quest for the path to the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and also, the questfor the Chinese Dream, the greatness of which has been nursed by the difficulties. Leaders from Mao Zedong to XiJinping have hoped for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, which has been the universal quest of the Chinese

communists of the last century. Although there is a disparity between the outlooks of them for the orientation, object andfocus of the Chinese Dream, it is the universal ideal of them to enrich the country, rejuvenate the nation, enable thepeople to live a happy life, and realize socialist modernization. Leaders of different time may hold different interpretationsof the Chinese Dream. That is because as far as the great rejuvenation is concerned, there is a broad approach as well asa narrow interpretation.
